Yamaha RD400,1976, Recent Nut and Bolt restoration, Rebuilt Engine & Gearbox

1976 Yamaha RD400 tax and tested (can put 12 months mot on for the new owner)Only 4 Previous owners. Matching numbers. 22911 miles. 1394 miles since a complete engine rebuild and full nut and bolt restoration. Pitstop motorcycles (air cooled specialties) did the work. it was stripped back to the frame and then rebuilt up. carbs rebuilt. all parts that needed to be replaced. was. Gearbox was rebuilt as well as third gear was crunching slightly. All the chrome/metalwork has been polished and cleaned so its gleams. even the side side was done. For 38 years old its in immaculate condition. the paintwork was redone except the tank which has a tiny little dent in the corner. not really noticeable. Has a polished chain guard fitted. It runs perfect. starts first time hot or cold. idles fine. as expected after all the work done. also has uprated coils an electronic ignition. Just had a complete ignition rebuild as it was for sale a but the igntion failed. so fully rebukt and running like a dream. Has a as new pirelli mt75 on the front and a as new Avon Roadrider on the rear. Never ridden in the wet. only ever on a nice sunny day. kept in tip top condition. cleaned. greased. serviced etc before it needs it. Was run in religiously. is always warmed up and cooled down correctly when ridden. Has all mots from the first one in 1979. it had done 11000 odd miles in its first three years and then the next 35 years its only done another 11000 the previous owner to me owned it for over 15 years. This is a cracking bike thats rides lovely. sounds ace and gets loads of positive comments wherever it goes. only selling as I have a couple of other bikes and I just don't use them all.
