FS1E (Fizzy)

Her is my Yamaha FS1E in near original condition. I acquired her in 1978 and used for a few years to ride into work during the summer months. I re-sprayed the bike sometime late eighties. perhaps with hindsight I should have left it 'popsicle purple' but hey we all get these good ideas? The chain drive for the pedal mechanism is missing. it was when I purchased it. although 'Fizzies' never really needed the pedals anyway. also the choke lever has been broken off (I think this has happened whilst in storage) I last used the bike on the roads in 1992. so it has been mothballed in my garage since then. it will of course need a new battery. and the mudguards are showing their age with corrosion. that was the reason back then I sprayed them body colour. lso The chrome shows signs of 'pitting' The mileage is completely genuine. I don't think she looks too bad for her age at coming up to 40 years old. I know these are now collectable machines which is why I have placed a minimum reserve on the bike. Moving house means the old girl has to find a new home. so although my address will show as Scottish Borders. the bike is still in storage at my previous address in the West Midlands B64 Area. it has to be collect only. and I don't have a 'Buy it now' price in mind Also included in the sale will be the 'Haynes' workshop manual for the FS1 series. and also most of the old MOT certificates dating back to 1978. at present there is no MOT on the bike. and although I have said I have the 'V5' it wasn't known as that back then it was a 'Registration Document' which I do have Any questions please ask. and I will answer them honestly Thank you for looking
