Description

Hi and welcome to this listing for a 2 previous ownered Fazer 1000 in met black!i had intended to give it a clean but its raining very heavily today so ill clean it for the winner!I am selling as I had a bad accident Jan last year and im having surgery in 3 weeks (at last) and wont be able to ride again. so im selling the bike. the gear (inc Mrs gear). everything!I aquired this in March 2011 from a Fazer freak! he would only ride it in the dry and on a sunday. and would  balance the carbs and check valve clearances straight after riding it. then clean it lovingly. proper bike nutter!!!I have used this for commuting. not racing or showing off! iv got 2 kids and value my ability to feed them! I have lots of paperwork for it (see pics) inc original bill of sale and delivery inspection report.  2 sets of keys inc 2x alarm/ immob key fobs. The bikes had a lot of upgrades and is a joy to ride (its extremely nippy!!). its had:Meta v2 Alarm and Immob (supplied and fitted 400 quid!)Professionally fitted and calibrated K-tech front and rear shocksIvans full monty kit fitted and tuned then rolling roaded @ 138bhp to the rear wheel (iv not ridden a fazer thou as fast as this one. and iv ridden a few). Race induction (K@N filter)HID light conversion kit (still fitted but disconnected due to bike law) Super bright lights fitted (until HID bike law changes!)Super bright LED rear light conversion kitBoth headlights come on when you turn on the lights instead of just one. full beam works as normal. Arrow tipped LED indicators all roundscott oilerCrash bungsBraided hosesExtremely loud double outlet horn (135db) much better than the standard rubbish!Belly panRear huggerHeavy duty sealed unit gel battery (never needs to be maintained and does very well in winter. starts first time every time). Heavy duty gold DID chain with hard wearing sprocket setFender extenderRenthal bar and risersFZS 1000 rad coverBag rack instead of hand grips at rear seat (still have hand grips if you want them back on)Blue Flame can (nice sound and not too noisy)Fazer onwers club Yamaha branded oil cover (allan key removal)As i mentioned im giving up biking so im inc all my gear (and the wifes):Mine:Alpinestars goretex jacket (think i still have the liner)RST goretex trousers (same with liners)Alpinestars goretex winter leather gloves (cost 165 quid!)Alpinestars summer GT tech race glovesSidi size 11 (fit size 10 normal shoe) goretex leather boots (cost 310 quid!)Viper flip-face bluetooth helmet inc integrated pull down sun visor (i will inc the satnav mount and holder i had fitted so you can use any satnav/ smartphone and pair it with the helmet for directions or speed camera alerts etc)Altec (or similar) heavy duty chain and lock (cant be drilled. grinded and only gas cut with extreme heat cutters and however metal is treated so it takes 5 mins to cut it) This is a serious security upgrade cost 200 quid for the lock and chain!!Mrs:click link to see listinghttp://www. ebay. co. uk/itm/Ladies-Womens-Frank-Thomas-Jacket-amp-IXS-Trousers-NEW-amp-Waterproof-/221605278512?As with anything it has a couple of bad bits:Clutch handle works fine but handle is bent down slightly due to bike being dropped. Because of this the risers have also bent slightly (Iv had the tracking and yoke alignment sorted and it passed the MOT)Age related paint scuffsPitted paint on left side of cylindersIts been sat in the garage for the last 3 months (it could use a new set of plugs and oil tbh). iv turned it over to keep the battery charged but it hasnt been riden. Its currently SORN and untaxed. it has MOT until March 2015. If the bid reaches 1200 quid (i expect it to go a fair bit higher) ill get a fresh MOT put on it (doesnt need anything for the MOT). I live in the country far from Plod so you can take it for a spin as long as you give me the keys to what your on/ in or 1200 quid cash. No test pilots! You bid to buy not haggle. Bike has average miles for the year @ 68k (these englines have clocked up over 120k. riding instructors etc) but dont be put off by the miles. its a solid bike and very rapid. Come and try it!I would recommend you come and view/ ride before bidding if your able to or send a mate who lives near me to check it out!I do have a BIN in mind however. and if accepted listing will change to a BIN format so ebay get their fees etc!A small deposit via paypal after auction ends please. 50 quid or such amount. Balance on collection please!!! or bank transfer if you dont like carrying large amounts of cash. or a cheque. but it clears first before bike leaves!Any q please ask. thanks for looking.

quick update: ordered replacement mot as original is tatty (will be here by end of listing). front nearside indicator stalk has bent somehow (kids getting quad bikes out garage prob. ) so ordered a new set yesterday. the screen rattles slightly at around 2000rpm think it was one of the studs not sitting flush after it was removed to fit the HID lights. nothing major just being honest. also noticed theres other bits on the bike that are non standard that i forgot to mention like pazzo race levers. best come look at it if you can to see for yourself if you can. theres not much that hasnt been upgraded tbh.
