2004 Yamaha FZ6-S (Fazer 600) - Blue/Purple
Cosmetically scruffy with scratches on the grab handles. front mudguard and both sides of tank (plus a minor dent). The photographs flatter so don't expect a minter!
Ideal as a winter hack (or if you are restricted to 33bhp). it runs fine and probably wouldn't take too much effort to look more presentable. My 33bhp restriction is up and I already have a new bike so someone else can have the pleasure of tidying it up.
This bike began life as a half faired FZ6-S but had lost its fairing by the time I acquired it.
The front brake lever. Urban headlight and alloy brackets are new (replacing dodgy twin 'dominator' headlights and rusty brackets).
I also replaced the pattern instruments with a genuine new Yamaha instrument cluster from a later bike (hence the low indicated mileage). The ABS light stays on because this bike doesn't have ABS. A speedo healer is fitted to get the speed calibration spot on and is easy to adjust.
It's fitted with LED indicators but one cover is missing (although they still work OK) and it could do with a better mount for the instrument cluster.
