1976 Yamaha XS650 Chopper with Gsxr front end conversion

1976 XS650 hardtail chopper with GSXR 600 front end conversion.

 This bike was put together with reliability in mind. Engine was gone through. and all needed wear items replaced. The electrical system has been updated with PMA system. Pamco electronic ignition. Lithium-ion battery and all new wiring. All bearings. hoses and cables have been replaced. And tank fender and every component besides the frame has been powder coated to ensure no fuss maintenance. Frame was stripped and treated with the KBS Coatings system that I use on every bike I build. Lots of details that I missed in the spec sheet you have to look the bike over to appreciate all the simplifying of things. Everything just works and flows. As with most of my motorcycle builds this one was built ?ˆ?just cause?ˆ? I felt like doing it. Its winter and time to start yet another project. This is a garage build with an eye for detail and some cosmetic scratches and flaws in some of the finishes. It has been ridden and used keep this in mind as it?ˆ™s hard to capture in photos.
