1996 Vmax

Original European Restricted import bike. but not anymore!

All works have been performed within the last 2 months:

Replaced Head Bearings. Progressive springs installed in 43mm front forks. Front wheel powdercoated Silver. New Radial front tyre. ew brake pads all round. Goodridge Brake and clutch lines fitted. New clutch with 60% stronger spring fitted. Refurbished radiator fitted.

Kerker 4 into 1 tuned exhaust fitted ( bought on ebay. so NOT new). New oil pick-up sealing washer installed in sump (engine saver). New spark plugs. Straight handlebars with brand new (oem) brake and clutch levers and Hand grips (removed all the silly aftermarket trash!). Swingarm and both sets of wheel bearings are new.

Engine has been flushed TWICE with good grade flushing oil. then re-filled with MOBIL 15w40 semi synthetic.

Shaft drive has been drained and re-filled with good quality gear oil.

UFO Billet 17" Rear Wheel conversion with new Radial superbike tyre. Carbs removed. cleaned. and Dynojet Stage 7 conversion carried out. airbox replaced with 4 seperate K&N filters. Bike now fuels each cylinder through 2 carbs at the same time. just the same as V-Boost except now you have the power from idle! Which makes for a much more "interesting " ride!! Problem is. you only get about 60 miles to a tank of fuel !

Re-painted: Engine. Faux tank cover (also comes with aftermarket Chrome version seen in photos). Swingarm. Rear fender (with LED rear light).

Stuff i removed when i purchased the bike: Marving Silencers. Billet forward controls. creen. silly aluminium hand grips. irbox. indicators. all included in the auction!

Bike has been cleaned and polished all over. and a lrge number of nuts bolts and screws have been replaced with Stainless Steel.
