1996 YAMAHA FZR600R - Foxeye - Track/Hack/Project - FZR 600 FUTURE CLASSIC!

Selling my Yamaha FRZ600R. These are quite rare and becoming collectible so grab it whilst it is cheap!I bought this in September. after my Street Triple was stolen. I bought it as a cheap winter hack for the daily commute.  My Triumph was recovered and returned last week. which is why I am selling this now. My original intention was to keep the FZR as a long term project and strip it down for a complete rebuild. Sadly. I just cannot afford to keep two bikes at the moment. The bike:As mention. this was bought as a winter hack. and so is far from mint. The bad points being:Lumpy idle. When revs are past 2000 it's not bad. It could probably benefit from a carb clean and rebalance. Never found it to be a problem when riding. MOT advisory for slight fluctuation in the front brakes. There is judder under heavy braking. however it hasn't bothered me. There is a receipt from April this year stating that the rear shock is weeping slightly. Will probably need changing for the next MOT. Hasn't been a problem for me though. General condition is as you would expect for a winter hack. Paint is faded. Few small cracks here and there. however fairings and panels are all securely attached to their original fixings. Not much service history with the bike. All in all though. it has been very reliable over the last few months. in all weathers. I use it daily through central London. and it has not let me down once.
