1986 Yamaha Virago XV700 18K orig. miles. Not running but great shape.

For sale is my 1986 Yamaha Virago XV700 with 18346 original miles. Bike is in excellent cosmetic shape. but has not been run in over a year. I love this bike. and someone with the right tools/skills or the right mechanic should be able to get it running with minimal hassle.  The last time I rode it. it was having some obvious fuel-delivery issues; the bike would run and idle well until it got warm. and then it would start to sputter and stall. Likely culprit appears to be carburetor and/or debris in the fuel tank. Besides this. the bike is in great shape. The seats are in impeccable condition. with no tears. The original tool kit is still attached. There is some rust on the aftermarket mirror stems. and the right brake lever has seen better days. The previous owner installed Jardine aftermarket exhaust pipes. which have a nice. loud. aggressive sound. Bike has clear title and is currently registered with the CA DMV as planned non-operational. Overall a great opportunity for someone with mechanical aptitude and the right tools.
