Description
I bought this bike to restore. However. I learned that this bike was only imported into the U. S. market for one year. Therefore their are few new parts so you have to buy used parts wherever you can get them. It is not worth the cost and my time to restore this bike. If you have a XV 500 Virago perhaps it would make a good parts bike for you. It has the following wrong with it:
1. starter clunks
2. front header pipe dented
3. carbs need rebuilt
4. front brake rotor and pads replaced
5. fuel tank petcock nipple broken
Yics system is good. I tested per the shop manual. I have the shop manual on cd-rom. It will go with the bike.
