1981 Yamaha XS 1100 Special, ONLY 8K miles!

81 Yamaha XS1100 Special in very good condition with only 8K original miles. The bike is complete. all lights and gauges work. It has very little rust and must have been stored properly for many years.  The original paint is still very nice. Tank has no dents and looks brand new inside with NO rust. Chrome looks great. Seat has no rips. Minor scuff on right engine side cover and small dent in right muffler. please see pics. It started to snow as I was taking the pictures so those are not scratches. they are flying snowflakes! It will need a rear tire.  Brand new battery. spark plugs. air filter. fuel lines. Carburetors were thoroughly cleaned. Valves have been lapped and clearances adjusted. Good compression in all 4 cylinders. Starts right up and runs good but the carburetors may need to be fine tuned. Clear NY Title is in previous owner's name and ready to be transferred. Buyer is responsible for shipping costs but I will assist any way I can. I also reserve the right to end the auction at any time if a sale occurs outside of Ebay.  I would like to keep it or sell in the Spring but I need to make room in the garage for the Winter. My loss is your gain.
