1972 Yamaha XS650 XS2

For sale is a 1972 Yamaha XS650. the XS2 model (very early). Clean matching numbers and CLEAN TITLE. Carbs rebuilt: New gaskets. needle valves. jet needles. e clips. air screws. air springs. main jets. and pilot jets. 20. 33 original miles on motor. reads 135 PSI for both cylinders from cold. New decompression cable. new throttle cable. new clutch cable. new speedometer cable. The battery has been replaced at some time and appears to be very new. Almost entirely original stock excluding the handlebars. seat. pipes and paint. The current handlebars are new black powder coated motocross bars. The seat is late model XS. The pipes are an old aftermarket 2-into-1 straight pipe. sounds sweet. Excellent chrome pieces and accents with a one of a kind survivor paint job. done sometime in the early 70's. Starts easy and runs well. this motor is fast! Fresh plugs and recent tune-up. Front brake was being rebuilt while pictures were being taken but are all ready to go now. Tires are in excellent shape. ride it home. Will consider delivery. just ask.
