1979 Yamaha XS650 custom build rat bike great patina, fun bike!

UPDATE!!!I got a message from a fellow Ebay member that the front motor mount is missing in the pictures.  I do have the front motor mount installed on the bike.  I had taken the mount off to match the size and length of the bolts so I could order replacement bolts for another bike that was missing the 3 mount bolts.  It has be reinstalled since the pictures. but wasn't on the bike when the pictures were taken.  My bad!  Good catch Ebay members!1979 Yamaha XS650. Custom build rat bike that was built around an awesome patina 76 AMF gas tank.  The tank was found hidden at a local motorcycle salvage yard and we had to rescue it and get it back on the road.  The tank was the centerpiece around the build to create a great vintage look.  The tank was cleaned top to bottom and seal coated on the inside.  New gas cap and petcock.  The bike has had a top end overhaul.  New PWK flatside carbs to give instant throttle response and a bit extra power.  Pamco ignition and Hugh's Handbuilt PMA kit with new rectifier and regulator. All stock wiring was removed and the bike was rewired with only what was needed.  This bike was stripped down to bare essentials. headlight. tail and brake lights. and license plate lights.  All electricals. charging. and fuel systems have been upgraded to new to give the bike modern day reliability with a vintage/patina/rat bike look.
