YDS6 DS6 Running Race Bike Project Including TZ250 Parts Fitted

Yamaha DS6 running race bike project. Frame number: DS6-0384* (last digit ommitted for security) Engine number: DS6Both numbers are factory originals untampered with. Imported from Japan by myself 4 years ago. Comes with C+E386 to prove taxes were paid on importation. Is fitted with the following TZ250 parts: Throttle grip assy and cables. Exhausts (modified flanges where they fit to cylinders) Front disc. Master Cylinder. Rear wheel rim 2. 50 DID. Top yoke ? maybe more ?Cleaned the carbs + points etc this week. fitted 2 x KH250 ignition coils and got running (see 2nd photo) Bump started easily and runs well on both cylinders with no strange noises. Clutch and gears operate correctly. On closer investigation. the generator has been modified to run "total loss" ignition. Charging coils have been removed and ignition rotor is bare. Intake ports have been gas flowed to match carbs (26mm Standard carbs ?) Took heads off to have a look at state of tune. porting looks standard and unmessed with. bores and pistons look almost new. Tacho drive and cable works ok. Runs on premix. no oil pump !Forks: 35mm. chrome is good. Shocks: Expensive looking ? KYB units. damper rod chrome ok. Issues: Kickstart shaft splines are worn. Rear rim spoke holes have been bodged to fit drum hubFrame has had various brackets removed. NO tank. seat. tacho etc. Lots of rust. scratches. scuffs etc. Bike is being sold as a running project and comes exactly as you see in the photos including the stand. Does NOT come with car battery and petrol tank as seen in photo 2. NO BUY IT NOWS !! Auction will run to the end. Cash on collection within 7 days best.
