Yamaha XT550

Welcome to the reluctant sale of my XT 550. nbsp;l bought the bike about a year ago after it had sat in a garage since 1998 (16 years)  l had to recommission the engine. fit new fork seals. swing arm bearings. battery and a new rev counter cable . tidied some of the paint work. checked brakes etc so all ready for its mot. nbsp; the carb to head rubbers are leaking so will need replacing (?84 on e-bay) . Well thats as far as it got. since then l have had a knee operation that's put me out of action for some time hence no point in keeping it. shame as they are only increasing in value.

To sum it up its in unmolested original condition except for the Marvin exhaust. not immaculate but very tidy . engine and box are fine no rattles or smoke.
