Up for auction is my fully restored Yamaha IT 490.
The bike was imported from Australia in 2007 but never registered. it was then sold and partially restored by the next owner.
I purchased the bike in 2009 and completed the restoration using many new parts.
The list of work carried is as follows :Engine was rebuilt by the previous owner. has loads of compression sounds as it should and goes through all gears. New genuine Yamaha front and rear mudguard. New genuine Yamaha IT490 indicators - all working. New Clark tank. The original R/H side panel and headlight surround have been polished and lacquered with a flexible lacquer. The L/H side panel is a DC plastics one which has been polished and lacquered. New DG complete exhaust. Still has the original battery box and rare rear light assembly with integral number plate.
THE BIKE IS STILL UNREGISTERED. I have no import documents but can provide documentation/evidence of the bikes history since being in the U. K.
Has matching frame and engine numbers.
