YAMAHA ROADSTAR 1700 CRUISER

Hi All. his is a sad day. listing my beloved iron horse for sale. Cash needed for household improvements :(OK. so I brought her over from sunny South Africa in Feb 2012 after doing a nice 10 day trip from Johannesburg to Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe and back. me and the misses - besides a rear puncture. she was a dream to cruise on - could have kept going to Cairo! The chap I bought her from was an enthusiast regarding these bikes and did all the servicing himself (even though it wasn't required due to low mileage!) and I carried on in the same vein. So even though she wasn't being ridden much. the oils were drained and replaced every 6 months. She has also been garaged since I bought her in 2010. She hasn't been ridden for about six months. so I have just taken her to my local specialist for a service and MOT (at a cost of ?275) which produced no advisories.  There is also a windscreen (slightly scratched) that will be sold with her as well as another tan leather seat. The panniers and mirrors are genuine Harley imports - RoadKing panniers. I have installed some nice front spots too. She looks awesome in white wall tyres but I just haven't gotten round to changing them. Existing tyres have plenty tread left. 2 keys. new battery. Please note. she IS NOT in showroom condition but won't take much to get her there. The only negative that I can think of is that there is a scratch on the top of the right hand pannier (before my time) and a few age related marks.  I am based just west of Hereford. HR5. Obviously test rides will require a ?200 cash hold down (along with your car keys!). nbsp;valid bike license and insurance. Viewing welcome any day any time.
