1975 Yamaha RD350 Orange/White

Ebay has removed this listing twice because of wording in the description! Hopefully third time is a charm! 1975 Yamaha RD350 in good to great shape! The RD series bikes are two stroke monsters! The bike will take your breath away! It goes down the highway very well and is nimble and quick in the city! The bike runs great and kick starting it is fairly easy. I believe this bike to be about 75-80% complete and correct but would also make a great cafe! The miles are believed to be original and we have a clear title.  If any experts want to verify that I will gladly update the listing! I will try my best to describe the bike in detail over the next few paragraphs but please feel free to ask any questions that I may not of covered.  Front End:The handle bars are nice and straight and the switches all work as expected. The gauges are nice and clear but have minor scratches and the gasket (oring) that holds the tach on is missing. The throttle. clutch and brake levers and cables all move smoothly. The front headlight works well and the bucket/ears are in good shape! It looks like the ears have been touched up with paint and have a couple minor dents and scratches. The forks are not pitted and do not leak but the caps are split. The front disk brake works well and appears to be in good shape. The front rim has slight rust but should clean up easily. The front tire has cracking and should be replaced but does hold air. The front fender is straight with slight surface rust and the front tip has wrinkles from being bent at one time. Engine:The engine starts on the first or second kick and runs great. The carburetors have been ultrasonically cleaned with new carb kits installed and new plugs. A very clean motor for its age. The exhaust is intact and has little or no rust. I have the "Y" boot for the carburetors but DO NOT HAVE the stock air box. Body:The gas tank has one significant dent on the right side (see pictures) and a few scratches and scuffs and parts of the decals are missing. The inside of the tank is clean and seems to be virtually rust free. The seat foam is in great shape and the seat cover has no tears or rips although not original. The side panels are complete and in great shape. Neither cover has any cracks and the tabs are intact. The rear fender and tail light are in good condition with no dents. scrapes or breakage. The rubber for the front foot pegs are in good shape and the passenger pegs are missing. Rear End:The rear rim has minor rust which should clean up easily. The rear tire has cracking and should be replaced but does hold air. The rear drum brake works well. The chain guard is in overall great condition. The rear shocks are in great shape and have minor surface rust.  Electrical:All four turns signals. head light and tail light work as expected. The wire harness is intact and has a few splices but not bad for its age. Overall. the bike is in good riding condition and a blast to ride around! This RD350 sounds mean and always draws in a crowd!

This bike is a great candidate for restoration. daily rider or custom build! The rarity and popularity of the RD350's make this a once in a lifetime opportunity for the right buyer!
