Yamaha XS1100 Motorcycle, 1979

This bike is a daily driver for me as long as the temperature is above 40 and has been very reliable for the 5 years I have owned it.   It starts right up every time. runs strong ( rides smooth down the highway. and looks pretty good for 36 years old.   The battery is 2 years old. tires have about 1/3 tread left. horn and lights all work. and I just changed oil in it.   There are a few very small leaks around the crankcase (no puddles). the gas gauge does not work. nbsp;and obviously there are some dents and dings here and there. but it looks good overall.   Last fall. the speedometer quit working at 30. 00 miles so I bought a replacement that had 48. 00 miles on it so you will always have to subtract 18. 00 to get actual mileage.   Email me with questions or to set up a time to look at this bike.   I might be willing to transport it to you for a reasonable fee. as long as you are relatively close.
