1987 Yamaha SRX 250

Likely the nicest SRX 250 in North America. this example is in near showroom condition.  It's always been garaged. and babied for its 2. 24 original miles.  

Very few cosmetic flaws. all of which are minor.  The only ones worth mentioning are a small crack in chin spoiler (most others either damaged beyond repair or missing entirely). which has been reinforced from the back side. and a small paint bubble on the front brake master cylinder at the cap seam.  All other body work including lights. seat cover. grips. levers. mirrors. and locks are all original and show little to no wear.  Both tires have been replaced once due to age. with only a few hundred miles put on them. All gauges. switches and other features are fully functional. and the bike starts. runs. shifts. stops and rides as well as it should.  The engine is single cylinder. dual cam and 4 valve. with dual exhaust ports and "dual" carburetors.  Mileage varies from 70 - 90 mpg.  

It has been a great bike for short weekend rides and local enthusiasts gatherings (Cars & Coffee events. vintage/collectable motorcycle shows. etc). and always draws a crowd at these events. Considering North America only received the SRX250 for the '87 model year. these are becoming harder and harder to find. especially in this condition.  

Buyer will receive a clean & clear Colorado title. the original (not a copy) Yamaha Owner's manual. and one (1) original key.

Winner must arrange and pay for shipping. but I will make myself available to assist the trucking company at time of pickup.
