Yamaha 1977 XT500 XT 500 cc Enduro original condition clear title

You are looking at a1977 Yamaha XT500. This bike is in original condition NUMBERS MATCHING. This bike has sat for many years the last time it was plated was 2001. I cleaned the carb. leaned and set the points. djusted the valves and set the timing. The bike runs well. The exhaust has been blasted and painted with ceramic heat paint and is very solid. The spark arrester and end cap are missing. While cleaning the bike up I found that the chain must have broken at some point and damaged the chain guard. sprocket cover and two of the mounting tabs(typical fort these bikes)but the damage is only cosmetic. The petcock seeps when in the on or reserve settings due to dried out rubber most likely and will need servicing. There is some spotty rust in the tank but no leaks. The tank is solid with only a couple of dents. I did not test all of the lighting but I did test the headlight and both high and low beams work. The wire harness appears to be in good condition . It should not take much to get the taillight working and add turn signals. THIS MOTORCYCLE COMES WITH A CLEAR MICHIGAN TITLE.
