1985 Yamaha VMAX

 1985 Yamaha VMAX in mint condition-You will never see another VMAX like this again. Bike came from the factory like this . as a special  bike from Mr. Conley and  he also sold after market products for the VMAX. I wish I still had the listing that told the story. Any way the bike needs nothing and has never seen the rain I am the third owner of the bike. This is the first year of the VMAX and this has got to be one of the fastest bikes I have been own and sounds like no other bike on the planet. Bike has new tires and with everything being chromed you can see and hear it coming miles away. The pictures of the bike will speak for the bike its self. If this bike dose not sell I will be glad to keep this one-forget the CBX. s and Z1. this is a crowd pleaser any where I go.   You can cruse or go as fast as you can hold on. bike stops great and handles very well.  All right here is the story on the bike this VMX was built by the late Jon Cornel-UFO products it did not come from the factory that way. Besides all the chrome. olished aluminum and black paint-here is a list of oher things UFO performance did to the motorcycle

1: Replaced 1985 carbs with a 2007 set and installed Stage 7 Dyno-jet and (4) K&N filters

2: replaced stock exhaust with UFO Dargstar 4/1 with slash cut "cut muffler". The sound of this VMAX is very unique  and Powerful.

3; Avon tires-(front-110/80zr18) (rear-150/90B15)

4: Galfer Braided hydraulic lines.

5: 3 piece UFO Starfighter seat-this seat is very comfortable compared to the stock seat.

In addition to normal maintenance the previous owner did these things to the bike

1: Upgraded 2 brush starter to 4 brush starter

2: Installed Kuryakyn mirrors

3: Installed engine guards ( essentially my highway pegs)- had the engine guards powder-coated black to  blend into the frame

4; Installed side mount license plate holder and eliminated rear mount bracket

Other maintenance of interest

1; Upgraded battery to an odyssey battery at 12. 00 miles

2: Fork seals replaced at 11. 06 miles

3: Voltage regulator and stator replaced at 12. 80 miles
