Aprilia Pegaso 650 supermoto

Really nice Aprilia Pegaso 650. /p>

 I bought the bike in June 2013. it would not start when I got it because the sprag clutch had failed (this is common on these bikes).

New sprag clutch bearing (genuine BMW).

 All front and rear suspension bearings cleaned and greased 

Reconditioned radiator 

New anti freeze

New oil filter and synthetic engine oil. all mesh filters cleaned 

New rear brake pads 

New brake fluid front and rear 

Different front brake master cylinder ?ˆ“ the front brake is really good now. standard one is very bad.

Lots of stainless steel bolts

Stripped the gold paint from the alloy frame side pieces and polished

Frame front and subframe and sump guard and swing arm sprayed silver (properly. not with spray cans!!) 

New chain and front sprocket (the rear was with the GSXR wheel and is good) 

All electrical connectors cleaned and special corrosion resistant spray 

Polished GXSR400 wheels. tyres and brake discs with special alloy wheel spacers.  

Lowered front mudguard to fit smaller front wheel.

Carbon can with removable baffle and special stainless steel pipes

Carbs cleaned and re-jetted (standard main jet is too big) 

Air filter cleaned 

Exhaust pipes cleaned and polished 

New fork seals (good ones. Ariete) not cheap Pyramid ones as these leak.

New fork oil

Rear shock has been re-pressurised with nitrogen 

Special spark plug BOR 

New plug cap 

Fuel tank drained and filters cleaned.

 It also has braided front and rear brake hoses.

I have less than a couple of thousand miles on it (the vast majority being on the standard wheels. only done a few miles on the GSXR wheels). /p>

 I really like the bike. it rides very well and am only selling it because I want to get bike with some off road capability (would part ex for a BMW F650 DAKAR 2004 onwards).

 I have just changed the engine oil again.

 I am a qualified engineer and like things to be just right as you can see!

It has done just over 24. 00 miles which is not a lot for these engines. they are made by Rotax.

I have some old MOT's and receipts etc to back up the work done and the mileage.
