This 1999 BMW K1200LT (33. 42 miles +/-) is in excellent running condition.   Please review the pictures and feel free to inquire about any item as necessary.   Dollar for dollar. this is arguable the best touring motorcycle on the market.   You will ride in comfort. speed and reliability.

 

I have owned this motorcycle since 2001. purchased it from Daytona BMW with about 4. 00 miles on it.   All service bulletins were performed by that facility.

 

Early model K1200?ˆ™s had an inherent hesitation at low speeds when applying throttle.   This was an uncomfortable feeling and was a potential hazard.   BMW offered a Motronic upgrade for $1. 00+.   I had the upgrade installed.

 

BMW offered an engine protection kit to protect the lower case from possible damage if the bike was to bottom out while riding over an obstacle.   I had it installed.

 

This bike is equipped with brake & clutch speed bleeders for fast and clean brake fluid changes.   Xenon HID headlight conversion by Phillips.   Xenon park light.   AP-1 Aux wiring terminal.   EDC brake pads.   Metzeler tires (fair to good condition).   Top case luggage rack.   Radio. tape deck and CD work fine.   Heated seat and grips.   Hard wire jack for audio to helmet.   Rapid flash brake light.   Sequential turn signal/brake lights mounted under the mirrors (nice).   Moto lights mounted on the front forks for safety.   Adjustable electric windshield. cruise control and ABS brakes.   This model K1200 does not have the linked front to rear braking system that BMW has gone to.   I like the option of controlling differential braking.

 

This motorcycle has a couple of scratched obtained from garage rash.   That includes a minor scuff on the right side of the windshield.   Being of 1999 vintage. you will see normal ware to be expected on a motorcycle of this age.  

 

In summary. this is a very well maintained K1200 with low miles in it in very good working condition. needing nothing.
