BMW k1100 LT motorcycle 1998

This is a great opportunity to get a touring bike at an incredible bargain. The bike was used from new as a police bike. and the seat has been converted from the original solo seat with document carrier behind to a dual seat and small rack behind.  I have all the parts to convert back to a solo seat if desired. It has a new battery. I have used this bike to commute in and out of London. and it gets a bit of extra respect from car drivers when they see it in their rear view mirror. I toured to the Loire valley in France and it is extremely comfortable to ride. The windshield is adjustable with a switch and can be done while riding. The ABS (antilock braking) is no longer working. but is only useful in very wet or icy conditions. and I found it safe to ride without in the wet. There is a small crack on one of the plastic side panels. I am not going to put a reserve on this bike as it must sell. I have two others now and don't use this bike. PS. The bike also has a cruise control device. and heated handle bar grips. There are two fairing pockets which do not lock. for storing maps. and odds and ends. I found it possible to mount a satnav with velcro to the inside of the fairing. I also found it easy to attach a backpack to the petrol tank and have a tank bag base which helps with attaching a bag.
