In from a barn in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont is a somewhat rare World War II era BSA side valve single. Â This machine comes to us from a fellow. now 57. who has owned the bike since he was 16 and last rode it when he was 18. Â The motor turns over and. as you can see. it is largely all there. Â However. make no mistake. this is a restoration project. Â We are helping the owner sell on consignment.
From our research. it is a late 1941 unit.  The pictures more or less tell the story.  We have set the reserve at a number consistent with the various buyer?ˆ™s guides. completed eBay listings and some discussions with BSA enthusiasts.

We think it is the type of bike that should not be fully restored. but done in a period patina ?ˆ“ clean it up and get it running properly and turn some heads. Â
