You’re looking at a numbers matching 1972 BSA A65T Thunderbolt. This bike has been a joy to own. I have six other vintage British bikes and this one is the most reliable of them all. Starts right up, as a nice deep thumper sound, nd has never left me stranded. The fenders and headlight bowl have been recently re-chromed. The bike has been well maintained, verything works, o smoke, evs smoothly through the gears. Dunlop Gold Seal tires are like new. The seat shows no wear. The wheels have some minor pitting but when they are properly maintained, t is very hard to see the pitting. The gas tank is a “home market” style, hat was intended for the British market only and has a small chip that is covered by a Dunlop decal (see photo). I assume the mileage is correct but have no way of knowing for sure. This bike needs nothing and is ready to go.
