BSA B44 VS Twin Shock Motocross Restoration Project

BSA B44 VS. Frame and Engine numbers are matching (see photos).  

This bike has side panels. lights and chain guard missing.  

There is a basic wire harness for the ignition system.  

The engine turns over and appears to have very good compression. there appears no fin or engine damage. all the gears select well.  

I have had the bike running but it is difficult to start due to the basic wiring system and high compression. even with the compression lifter working.  

Clutch and gears select as would be expected.  

The rims appear to be original and the chrome has some surface rust. but the rims appear the original and they are solid.  

Rear wheel is  a QD type and the front is B44VS 8?ˆ? type. Chrome on the bike has surface rust.  

The tank is in sound condition with one small dent (see photo).  

The seat base is in good shape but there are some small rips in the seat covering. seat foam feels good.  

The forks appear to be in working condition.  

The paintwork to the frame appears original and is showing signs of its 40 plus years.  

You will need to verify the age to your own satisfaction.  

There are no papers with this bike. what you see is what you get and viewing will be welcome.  

This is a project. being sold as project and will need to be trailered away.

This is an opportunity to own a fast appreciating Classic Bike that would make a very desirable asset.
