Up for auction is a one-of-a-kind Prototype Custom Chopper.
Built in 2006 with a collective team of well renowned in the automotive industry.
The engine was designed and cast by Alan Root with the final assembly and dyno by Jon Kaase. Over $400k was invested in the R&D and production of just the engine alone.
The bike was fully assembled by Kim Hottinger.
We named her"Beasty Bike"...'cause she truly is a beast at 160hp and 170 foot pounds of torque!!!
The engine is truly a revolutionary design with half the moving parts of a standard Harley engine. It has a crankcase scavenge system unique only to the Alan Root design and this is the only engine ever built that incorporates it. Alan applied automotive racing technology to the limitations of a traditional V-twin.
This engine is absolutely an automotive museum quality work of art!
Thischopper was custom created, y Kim Hottinger, o showcase the VRX150.
It has never been ID stamped or titled. Will be sold with a notarized Bill of Sale.
It was featured in a few magazines, ne of which is Easyriders March 2006 Issue #393 (see images).
