GASGAS 280 TXT PRO 2006 Road Registered

Welcome to the auction of my GasGas 280 TXT PRO 2006 model.   Its road registered on an 07 plate and the V5 is in my name.   Although road registered there is no MOT and it’s on SORNIt’s in fantastic and clean condition as you can see from the pictures.   It’s been very well looked after with regular servicingI’ve owned it for about 18 months now and it’s been a 100% reliableLast month I bought a ?100 service kit from Cambs Trials Centre (item number 231475679221).   It’s been treated with new oil and filter. and chain and front & rear sprockets (other items in the kit will be included in sale).   I haven’t even used the bike since fitting these (check the pictures taken today).   I was planning to keep it for this year but a friend has offered me his newer bike at mates ratesBeing a 280 it has a lot of power and torque so it’s had the flywheel mod to tame it a little.   It makes it less snatchyThe forks are in fantastic condition with the black coating in virtually unworn condition.   This on its own is a sign it has had an easy life.   The rear shock is an Ohlins and very clean.   Tyres have plenty of tread left so no need to replace them.   I have ultrasonically cleaned the carburettor as I haven’t used it through the winter and thought it would benefit from it.   A thing worth mentioning is that the exhaust silencer isn’t worn through like many I have seen. this is due to the rear tyre rubbing on itThis is a used trials bike and due to the nature of the sport there are inevitably some scuffs and scrapes.   The only ones worth mentioning are the small ding in the left of the frame and the dint in the tank cause by me when I ran out of talent trying to get up a river bankThere some new and used spares that come with the bikeNew gear leverNew dual purpose brake / clutch leverNew spark plugNew front and rear wheel bearingsUnopened bottle of 2-stroke oilUnopened bottle of coolantUsed carbon look frame protectorsI have some opened bottles of gear oil and 2-stroke oil that you can have tooThe bike is located just south of SheffieldIf you have any questions then just ask Now for the boring bit.   I will require a ?100 deposit once the auction has finished and the remaining balance paid in cash on collection.   This bike is sold as seen therefore not warranty is implied or given.   It is advertised locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early
