1997 HARLEY-DAVIDSON BLUE

HARLEY DAVIDSON  DYNA SUPERGLIDE 1340 EVO.

This is my sons  bike which was in regular use up to Nov 14. It has been stood since then as it has various faults that need fixing before it can be put back on the road.        They are as follows. engine mounts are completely shot(new ones supplied with bike).   leaking rocker cover gaskets. Clutch cable stretched and 1 throttle cable snapped.   Fork seals leaking. 1 footrest snapped off the forward controls and replaced with a long bolt(we have the footrest but it will need to be repaired). Seat split and taped.  Other than that the bike is generally a bit tatty with a fair amount of rust (the photos make it look better than it is).  On the good side it has only done 25. 00 miles. it has some custom goodies on it like the wide glide billet front end and the billet forward controls. It has braided brake lines front and rear and is fitted with a pair of Avon cobra tyres which have loads of miles left on them.  MOT until Sept.  It has loads of service history and previous mots. I started the bike today for the first time in a couple of months and the motor is really strong with no rattles or knocks. It is a shame that due to his current circumstances he can not afford to repair the bike although someone with their own workshop could do all these jobs quite cheaply.
