Here we have a superb 1984 Harley Davidson FXR. For you Veteran Bikers you know what you are looking at here.. This is an FXR that is rare indeed.. For you newbies this bike is not for you. This is NOT a beginner bike ! No rookie bikers please !! ok.. Got that out of the way.. For you riders that are looking for a Harley but not all that familiar with the brand what we have here is a 1984 FXR with the Big Boy 80 Cubic Inch 1340cc V2 evolution motor designed by Porsche made by Harley. This FXR had the Vance and Hines 2 into 1 exhaust for superb sound and power Screaming Eagle Carb Drag Specalities OP Gauge Dry Clutch with oiler Enclosed Chain Rear Factory Air oil suspension for a superior ride front Dual Disc single rear disc for sure stops Tac Speedo Fuel Electronic Ignition 5 Speed Head light switch on and off which I love so you do not drive around with your headlight on all the time. You Choose to have it on or off. YES !! Speedo shows around 38k. Blinkers will blink everythime you push the blinker button off and on and off and on. I am not sure if this is the way it was for this bike or not. So I just use hand signals most of the time. I have owned the bike for over 10 years and the speedo had around 24k on it when I bought it. I bought it from a Bank that owned it. Bike is not perfect.. I can tell you it is DAMN GOOD !! Vance and Hines 2 into 1 is very therapeutic. Power and subtle at idle but when you get a good burn going it sounds the best !! This bike makes power !! Big power !! Chrome Battery that is about 4 years old and still works well. Rear tire is down there and will need replacing soon. No surprise there with all the power this bike makes. FXR is the best bike Harley ever made. Period ! And Harley has some great bikes to be sure !
