Harley Davidson U Flathead

up for auction is my personal 1944 U Big Twin Flathead. The engine was rebuilt 6 years ago. Since then 2 miles on the road. Nice shiny antique brown paint. The bike was sitting in my garage for the last 6 years. Got it running every 6 months. Bike starts right up and runs fine. The Linkert carb works really good. But I never really rode it on the road. I was told from the person I bought it from that the frame is a replica frame. The gas tank is original. Front and rear fenders are reproduction. It has a 12 volt electric system motor has matching case numbers. If you are looking for a 100% original 44U Flathead DO NOT BID. But it is still a very nice original LOOKING Flathead.
