Harley Davidson V Rod VRSCA

Stunning bike that gets admiration every time I park up.

I bought this bike just over two years ago after totting up a grand total of nine points on my GSXR. so thought it would be a great way to slow down. and it is.

I have stripped it down to the bare frame. re-dressed some of the poorer factory welds. including welding a small 5mm spider crack where the subframe meets the mainframe. The frame was then blasted and powder coated.  I am a fully skilled car mechanic of 30 years and also mig welding to a very high standard the last 20 years. so can assure you all work has been carried out to the highest standard.

   I have quite a few photo's of before and after. including close ups of the crack. should anyone wish to see them.

Needless to say. much time and money has been put into this bike. as I had no intention of selling it. but unfortunately work (that I've been ignoring over the years) in the house needs doing. I'm lucky enough to have two bikes. this one and an R1. and I'm really torn between the two. but the fact that I spent far more time on the R1 last summer. has decided for me which one has to go(also the fact that I'm down to three points now).

I'm in no real rush to sell. so if I have no joy now. will advertise in the spring.

This bike performs/ handles far better than I ever expected(better than the M1800r Suzuki Intruder I owned). only limited by ground clearance as all of these style bikes are. You have the choice of power and great suspension with a beautiful gearchange or just chill and soak up that awesome exhaust note.

There are just a few small marks on the dummy tank cover and frame. forgot to take pics. will try and sort in the next few days. Otherwise stunning condition.

There are cheaper V rods for sale. but please bear in mind the amount of extras. just how expensive they are and its condition.
