I know. How can this be a non-runner?

I have 2 of these. This one was bought as a non runner for spares. but I did it up a bit as you can see because it was in recoverable condition. I can�t help it! I didn't get it running first!

The handlebar stem and rims are painted. You could get them re-chromed but I don�t think it�s worth it.

No speedo but OK to MoT as it doesn�t do more than thirty mph. (so I�ve been told).

Front mudguard has a split near the top anchor point (see pic).

I thought the exhaust was OK cleaned up. New exhausts are for sale elsewhere if you want to improve this further.

I put new foam in the seat and stripped/painted the base. It�s the original cover which is good and perfectly serviceable. Again. you can get a new cover if you want.

The (new) paint has crazed a bit on the left hand side of the main frame for some reason (see pic). all other paint is fine.

I also put new stickers on it as you can see from the pictures.

I have applied for a V5 and had confirmation that DVLA are dealing with it so I should have the V5 by close of auction. I will update the listing appropriately.

I thought with fresh fuel it would start. It didn�t. I found there was no spark so I fitted a new plug. Still no good. I am no mechanic and so do not delve into the internal workings. A mate checked it over and it�s producing power. but it�s not getting to the points (and therefore the plug) for some reason. We haven�t tried to get the dynamo out. we just tested for output by rotating it. The loom (and coil/condenser or whatever) is OK because it ran when I put the engine out of the other one into this frame. That�s as much as I can tell you.

As I have another (better) one. I have decided to sell it as it is and let someone else fathom it out.

You might know what�s wrong with it and be able to fix it. Or you might already have a tatty one with a good engine so you could just put the good engine in this frame - whatever. I just need the space in my shed back!
