1988 GL1500 Goldwing

1988 GL1500 with CB AM/FM radio cassette player reverse cruise control rear passenger volume control and push to talk switch. Front and rear speakers with fader control replaced all 4 speakers within the past 2 years. Driver's highway boards and backrest passenger arm rests.Over the past 3 years I've replaced the timing belts fork seals and installed new All Balls steering head bearings. New brake rotors front and back flushed all brake lines. Rebuilt the fuel petcock replaced both air filters and fuel filter. New alternator was installed about 4 years ago so you should have no problems with that for a long time. Mechanically this bike is totally sound and will give you lots of enjoyment on the road.Last winter I installed LED lights in the saddlebags side vents and most of the lights in the dashboard. Also added some RGB LED lights under the saddlebags and trailer hitch. Replaced the passenger backrest 2 years ago only thing that I haven't replaced yet is the saddle which has a small tear on the lower right hand side. New one will cost you a little over $200 if you want to replace that but it's not bothered me enough to do so. Along with the bike I have some unused parts (lower cowl cover side stand switch etc.) that will go with it. Also a Clymer's Service Manual which comes in handy when you start wanting to take something apart on it.I've owned and ridden this bike for 19 years. Only reason for selling is that I ran across an 1800 deal that was just too good to pass up. I promise you will like the ride on this bike! I'd have no problem taking it cross country today.
