Kawasaki GPZ 1000 RX (ZX) Classic Very Good Condition

For sale due to lack of time. space and impending move of house. My GPZ1000RX is up for sale. a fast appreciating classic.    I always wanted one of these. my mates had them in the late ‘80’s/early 90’s and as an apprentice I could not afford one but I did get to ride one occasionally and it was awesome.    The GPZ900R was a legend and then Kawasaki made the RX. which looked much more evil. especially if you saw it approaching at warp speed in the rear view mirror. I bought this a few years ago after it had been stored for a few years. before that the MOTs show that it was doing less and less miles each year and I understand that the former owner was of an age that it wasn’t really manageable anymore and that it too was a reluctant sale for him. There will not be many 28-year-old bikes out there. which are in a condition as good as this.    Although not totally blemish-free the bodywork is very. very good – the only things worth noting are a small corner chip to the side panel by the front indicator on each side and a boot wear mark; both are common with these and are shown in the collage photograph.    Some of the bracketry needs a little tidying. again see photo. To make the bike ready for the road the usual jobs will need to done as the bike has been standing: The carbs will need a clean. the fork seals need renewing.    Oh. a MOT of course.    New fork seals will be provided with the bike.
