Kawasaki Z 750 LTD 1981

This is like selling an old friend. but unfortunately I do not have enough room to keep her since I bought another bike.

She started life in sunny California and was imported to UK in 1993.   I met her 7 years ago and we have covered 21. 00 reliable miles together.

She has mostly been ridden on Vintage Motor Cycle Club runs returning over 60 mpg.

Replacements have included chain & sprockets. fork seals. rear shocks and swinging arm bearings. a new battery this year. plus of course tyres. and service items.

The bike is in good original condition although the silencers are ex Harley Davidson and a bit scratched.   Another pair of silencers are available but they are also scratched and loud.   There is some rust on the rear chrome mudguard but the paintwork is good for a 33 year old bike.

There is the usual primary chain clatter that I am told most old Japanese 4 cylinder bikes suffer from at this sort of mileage. It goes when the revs increase or when the engine is pulling and I am advised it is nothing to worry about ?ˆ“ a new chain is ??112 from WEMOTO.

The bike is easy to ride and comfortable with a low seat height suitable for the vertically challenged.   The pillion seat is very roomy and the bike good to ride with a passenger on board.

If you want to bid for the bike I suggest come and see it first because I cannot offer any kind of warranty.
