** The only ding in the tank is near the frame. out of sight. and invisible if you were to add fairings.  It looks like I'm pointing at a ding on the top of the tank in a picture. but that's actually a reflection of a bolt with the camera flash.  I took a second picture without the flash to show that it was just a reflection.
