Laverda 650 Sport Kevlar ?ˆ“ Italian classic

No longer many of these around ?ˆ“ only 11500 Km the clock from new and fitted with the factory Kevlar fairing.   Once 100% complete. this model is apparently quite rare.

 

The bike has been stood for some time and I bought it to put it back on the road after carrying out the necessary repairs.   I have done most of the repairs and it?ˆ™s now ready for MOT and the jobs mentioned below. runs and sounds good.

 

This is a project with a small amount of work to finish it ?ˆ“ great winter project!

 

The engine and gearbox are smooth and quiet and the bike runs fine and there is no corrosion.   There were not many of these produced. great spec including fully adjustable white power front and rear suspension. Brembo discs and callipers. Marchesini wheels and Nikko Bakker alloy beam frame.

 

The bike comes with the original service book. last recorded service was 5260 Km in December 2002. There is also the owner?ˆ™s handbook and obviously the V5 document.   I also purchased a workshop manual.

All new genuine Brembo brake pads fitted

New fork seals (spare set included)

Handle bar clip-on?ˆ™s re-chromed

Rear wheel powder coated

Fairing brackets power coated

New chrome steering yoke top nut

New engine oil and fuel

attention to the brake light switch

get an MOT (then ride it!)

 

The bike did come with a small box of spares when I bought it including a headlight. foot rests. nuts and bolts etc and are included with the bike sale.
