1974 Norton Commando 850 Roadster

Description

1974 Norton Command,with matching numbers, estored to running order after being in dry clean storage for 30 years. I'm not a bike guy but it was worked over by British bike specialists. Here is a partial list of what was done.

• Boyer ignition
• New coils
• New Isolastics/motor mounts
• New battery
• All new wiring
• Rebuilt forks
• New mufflers
• New carburetor and manifold
• New throttle cable
• New seat
• Gas tank cleaned and painted (then dented)

I had it converted to a single new Amal carb to simplify tuning but I have two good Amals and the original manifolds if you want to convert it back. It comes with an official Norton workshop manual, he original seat with a small tear in it and the original air cleaner box. The fenders have some pitting (see the photo). It's not a show bike but it starts and runs and could be fully restored or just ridden as is. Thanks for looking.
