1938 Panther 250 "Sloper". Excellent. running condition. 1980's restoration. always stored indoors. heated. as a head turner in office or bedroom. British manufacturer Panther was older than Harley and Indian. was the first manufacturer to use a rear chain instead of leather belt. and make the engine a stressed member of the chassis (like all modern sport-bikes). Panther didn't survive the Japanese motorcycle invasion of the 1960's and ceased manufacture. This 1938 bike is a rare pre-war model having undergone a professional. complete restoration in the 1980's. The bike has a nice patina. and paint is in very good condition with minor chips. etc. consistent with age of bike and restoration. Battery is not original. Rare opportunity to own a period-correct. pre-war Panther. Sold as is. Buyer is responsible for arranging and payment of all shipping and handling.
