Whizzer1948 Roadmaster

Starting with an H series engine 6 years ago this is a culmination of countless swapmeets Ebay word of mouth ect..A lot of thought trial and error went into the close to final finished product. Finding a 1948 Roadmaster "dimpled" frame streamlined the decision to build this Whizzer as a pre-AMF Roadmaster.Sourcing original paint tank peaked fenders[with rare curved braces] and traces of maroon paint on the frame makes this a survivor as a few later parts are retro like the 1995 Shockmaster springerflexy exhaust[ belt guard rear standnew chain I believe these to be the only Chinese parts]Worksman wheels[ the best that you can get].Luxury Liner chain guard and rear rack are 1948[ note curved braces]. Tires are beautiful Schwinn Typhoon W/Ws.new tubes .New Gates belts The Permico seat is the best one Ive ever found .Motor turns free with good spark. Left pedal has s bend as per original owners directed. New owner gets the benefit of very little parts hunting[ Rear tank mount is missing and the coaster brake needs a clamp the rear belt is 1" too short[need a 64"].Better brackets and some clamps. Going to the 2014 Whizz in I saw lots of Schwinn based Whizzers but only a couple of Roadmasters[a nicely finished one had an asking price of $8000]. What makes this a real stand out is the original finish making this a real diamond in the rough. Its only original once..Do you think there might be a reason Dale Walkster leaves them that way? Im not an expert but will answer questions to the best of my ability. Ive not put gas or oil in it if its to be a static display inside. This is being sold as a project with no guarantees expressed or implied. I can do partial dismantling for shipment probably 2 packages.
