This is a very rare 350cc Indian Westerner (1 of 25) as Authenticated by the Royal Enfield Historical Society. It runs well and I am the second owner. I thought I would have room for it but. it doesn't fit well in the garage. I have this letter The Royal Enfield Owners Club

Royal Enfield ?ˆ?Indian?ˆ?
Frame # 43903Â -Â Engine # 17506
Â
The above machine is one of the ?ˆ?missing machines?ˆ? not recorded in the original Royal Enfield Redditch factory despatch ledgers now owned the Club.
Â
It is a 350cc Westerner. a machine that never appeared in the Indian brochures at the time.
Â
Based on a gap in recorded engine numbers. the factory only produced 25 of these 350cc machines.
Â
The ledgers are in frame number order and. based on the dates before and after a gap in entries where the above number fits in. I can deduce that it would have been sent to the Brockhouse depot in West Bromwich (UK) in early 1959.
Â
The Brockhouse Corporation had a contract with Royal Enfield for the supply of machines badged as Indian between 1955 and early 1960. all of which were exported to the U. S. A.
Â
Yours faithfully. /p>
