This auction is for my 1981 Suzuki GS650GT. MOT runs out next summer and is taxed until the end of the year. I have not used her for 2 months as I have a new bike. I really do not want to sell her. but I sort of agreed with my wife to sell her when I got my new bike. and now my twin sons want a moped each and I need the space. so. reluctantly. she has to go. V5 in my name. Under 2000 miles since I have owned her. 307 miles since MOT in June. New Fork seals fitted by previous owner4 into 1 Motad exhaust which is in very good condition. Front tyre is a Bridgestone BT45 and it was new about 2000 miles ago ready for 2013 MOT (picture 5). Rear tyre is also a Bridgestone BT45 and it was new for last MOT so its just done over 300 miles (picture 6). New Stainless Braided lines and fluid. New NGK Spark plugs last year. New oil and filter this year. New Fork oil this year. New Rectifer/regulator last year. New Battery last year. New front brake master cylinder/leaver last year. New fuel and vacuum lines. New Suzuki clutch springs this year. New Clutch cable (Suzuki). I have a spare oil filter for it. some exhaust gaskets. rear light lens. a Clymer manual and a few other bits and bobs that will go with it if I get the full asking price. I dread to think how much I have spent on her. but a rough guess would be in excess of £600. The engine has been changed but I did a top end re-build (cylinders honed and pistons re-ringed). new gaskets (Suzuki head gasket). valve shims replaced as necessary prior to fitting it (I was told the engine had done about 30k but I have nothing to prove this). their are no rattles and she goes well. I struck her up this afternoon (see video). Picture 4 was taken while she was ticking over as you can see on the rev counter. Original Video - More videos at TinyPicNow for the bad bits. bear in mind she is 33years old. but she is not in bad nick. The seat has a tear and has a bit of duct tape covering it. One of the side panels has a crack in it (it has been repaired but could do with re-spraying). The front indicators have tape on the stems as the plastic has cracked but they are still solid and both work (they were like it when I got her - I have another set of indicators for her but I have never got round to fitting them). Viewing is welcome Cash on collection please.
