Suzuki GSX400F motorcycle 1980's classic for everyday riding

For sale is my Suzuki GSX400 F.

I have owned this bike for nearly a year and used it to commute locally and for fun.   I bought it from my local bike shop (FCL Cranleigh) when my Suzuki DL 650 was written off (I also bought a Nissen Almera. ).   Effectively I went to be an all year rider to having a bike and a car.  I have now bought  a 750 BMW that will be better for motorway use.

This bike came to FCL from one of their customers.   On arrival one of the owners of the garage rode it to Belgium to visit family.   He then sold it to me.   It came with out the decals on but I have them if you want them. I like the look as it is as it is almost completely unbranded.   I believe the mileage to be genuine.   It starts well (with the choke) and stops well to.   I have just had the brake pads replaced and the chain and sprockets costing me nearly 300 pounds.

?·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â  It has a small rip in the seat.   The original seat had a rip.   I bought a new one on e-bay & then that ripped to?ˆ¦. you  are welcome to both

?·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â  It needs a new speedo cable. FCL have this and I will get it fitted for the buyer

?·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â  It comes with new wing mirrors that I have never fitted

?·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â  It comes with V5. mot. maintenance manual. spare set of keys & the original tool kit

?·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â  One indicator has a crack in the glass.   It does not need replacing

?·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â  The fuel gauge works intermittently

?·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â  The high beam dash indicator light does not work

?·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â  It has a side and center stand

?·Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â  Crash bars and back rack are included
