Suzuki SV650 K6 [fuel injected model]

Description

Suzuki SV650 K6 [2006 fuel injected model] race bike in mini-twin trim:

V5 in my name Prepared to ACU regulations with lock wiring. oil-catch fairing. spherical footrest ends etc. [always passed scrutineering without problem]. The bike was bought in 2013 & raced this year. Unfortunately. the bike lost power on the main straight at Donington Park & would not restart. A partial strip of the motor exposed a piece of cylinder liner debris [see photo]. Repair may be possible though extent of the damage has not been fully assessed. Plans for a bigger machine in 2015 mean the bike is for sale as a rolling chassis with failed engine in situ. Other than the engine. the bike is sound with no known faults. It went well on track & will do so again once the engine is sorted. Features :
