1952 Triumph TWN 250 motorcycle

This is a 1952 Triumph 250 TWN BDG250H. It is actually a German Triumph; Triumphs were originally made in Germany before the UK acquired the company. This is what they call a “Twingle” design; it has 2 pistons and 1 cylinder. As you can see it is restored nicely, owever, he downpipe from the exhaust has a small dent. There is a photo of a brand new downtube and a new speedometer cable. The back brake does not work; it could be something simple as simple as an adjustment.

I acquired the back 4 years ago. It has sat in my garage along with all of my other projects and I have done nothing to it; I have never even tried starting it. Looking at the restoration I presume it will run just fine. I hate to sell it but I fear I will never get around to doing with it – IT NEEDS A GOOD HOME.
