Hi and thanks for looking.
I'm advertising this for the second and final time. I had one offer by phone last time that was just below my lowest price. Make me an offer!
I'm reluctantly selling my Bonneville as I need a new car for commuting and have a family holiday to pay for.  I bought this bike from Shirlaws. Aberdeen Triumph in February of this year and it has covered less than 1300 miles.
The bike is a 2014 Bonneville on a 2013 plate and is in excellent used condition. It has never been dropped and looks sensational in black with black engine casings (the hardest wearing finish).
I did a lot of research before and after buying this and have made some sensible modifications to overcome the shortcomings of the standard machine and enhance the look to a low key 'Caf?© Racer' look. This is a really special bike. a head turner that always gets admiring glances and looks and sound sensational with Norman Hyde peashooters!Â
The sale price (£6195 or best accepted offer) includes over £1500 of extras as below AND professional delivery to mainland England and Wales (the bike is in Scotland). Â
(If the buyer collects or arranges their own delivery I will deduct £178 which is what BLD Group charge. See BLD Group website for details of their delivery service but it's a max of 10 working days. I am using BLD because I have used them twice to pick up (a BMW K100) and deliver (a Harley MT350) bikes and they have been reliable and treat the bike with care.
The £1500 of extras included in the sale price are as follows
Triumph Tacho kit (cost £220). the standard Bonnie comes with a speedo/trip computer only. this Triumph OEM kit adds a rev counter - essential kit in my opinionHagon rear shock absorbers (cost a bout £200). The standard items are well known to be fairly cheap and nasty. These replacements are superior quality Hagons and are both rebound and preload adjustableIkon progressive fork springs (cost about £80). Improve the front end suspension to match the back. Norman Hyde Toga peashooter silencers (cost £300). Make the bike sound like it should! The standard silencers are just too quiet for the bike's character. Triumph tank pads (cost about £40). These OEM pads look the part and protect the sides of the tank from your kneesTriumph mainstand (cost about £170). If you want to do your own maintenance this is a must (or paddock stands)LSL sportsbars (high quality German custom bars give a slightly more sporty riding position) LSL are one of the best bike modifiers around and have produced a number of Bonnie specials. These bars replace the standard bars that have a huge pullback for an upright riding position with a slightly weight forward position that is not uncomfortable like some clip-ons. British made stainless steel Halcyon bar end mirrors (a bout £40 a piece) Probably the best available. High quality stainless steel. fully adjustable and sprung. Embossed with 'Made in England' the genuine article. Dealer fitted fork gaiters from new. Protects the chrome on the fork tubes from grime and sut - fitted from new so they are as clean as a whistle. Also look the part. Dealer fitted 17 tooth front sprocket. Study any of the forums and you'll see that people are always searching for a 6th gear on the Bonnie. Thruxton and Scrambler. I found exactly that. it's revving just too high in 5th at 60 mph. Fitting a different front sprocket sorts the issue and gives the bike the gearing Triumph should have fitted. I had this changed by Shirlaws Triumph at the 500 mile service. 'New Bonneville' Lucas style indicators and rear light. (cost £150+) Take a close look at the standard items; they are plastic and look cheap and the style of the rear light does not match the Bonnie. This high quality replacement requires no splicing and is plug and play. the indicators are as per the 1970's originals Triumph used and the rear light is heavy. solid chromed metal. Triumph OEM single seat (cost about £165) A look at the forums will tell you the stock dual seat is pretty uncomfortable and looks cheap. This is much better and adds to the 'Caf?© Racer' look with that hump at the backAlso included in the price. I will send the original standard mirrors. silencers. bars. and rear light/front/rear indicators should you wish to return the bike to standard specification using Royal Mail or ParcelForce.
Triumph Warranty is valid until 1 Feb 2016.
No outstanding finance on the bike - it is 100% owned by me
