Ural Red October

In the recent years it became a tradition for the factory to produce very Limited Edition theme based motorcycles. In 2009 the theme was based on the novel ?ˆ?The Hunt for Red October?ˆ? by Tom Clancy and its movie version. Only very Limited Edition of 26 "Red October" Urals were manufactured.  

It has 18 inch wheels instead of the common 19 inch ones and the lower mounted sidecar along with the bright red paint gives an aggressive stance even when stationary. The lower center of gravity also enhances cornering stability at higher speeds. It was originally offered as 2010 Model Year and included all important improvements that were applicable for 2010 Model Year!

Like any Ural this "Red October" is a lot of fun to ride. Due to its 18" wheels and lower sidecar that was used by the factory from the "Retro" model "Red October" has much lower center of gravity and therefor offers amazing handling on the road and of road as well.  

It is also a collectors piece.  

The 2010 Limited Edition "Red October" Ural also comes with Red October.
