Yamaha FZR 600 3TJ track bike

Selling my Yamaha FZR 600 3TJ trace bike.

I've not used it much in the last two years and need to create space for other projects and bikes (It's a disease but I just can't help it) .  

This bike started life as a 400 and was converted to 600 using the standard conversion kit widely available. The bike is not standard in anyway and has been built solely for track use

it has no lights fitted and has no ignition key as it works of a switch only. the bike does not have a V5 although I did take the precaution of having it Vehicle checked before I bought it. (all came back clean) I will provide a copy for any prospective buyer. there is no reason why she couldn't go back on the road. The question is why with the roads as bad as they are and all those flipping speed cameras!

The bike has never been dropped and is fitted with a number of extra goodies. flatslide carbs. Ohlins rear shock. Ohlins internals on the front. some porting work has been done and it is allegedly fitted with Carrillo rods which I can't confirm as I've never needed to strip the engine. It runs on fully synthetic oil and I did fit a new clutch last year.  I was informed when I bought it that it has never been raced. just used on track days. but I can't confirm that.  

This is a great bike that handles brilliantly and goes very well and looks fantastic in the Marlborough Colours.
